Singing has been at the core of Laura's life for as long as she can remember! After her parents introduced her to Orpington Junior Singers in 1994, she developed a love of choral singing (and of a rather handsome boy-soprano to whom she is now married, with two wonderful sons!).
She has enjoyed many rich singing experiences as a soloist and a choral singer. Lucky enough to take part in international tours with the Bromley Youth Choirs, The National Youth Choir and Warwick University Chamber Choir, Laura then ventured into the world of primary education where she has shared her love of music with enthusiasm over the years. Vox Anima Chamber Choir has enabled her to return to the technique-rich world of the small chamber choir, to once more sing in some of the most beautiful and inspiring venues our part of the country has to offer, and to be a part of such a wonderfully passionate and supportive group of musicians, who she feels incredibly lucky to have in her life!
Laura also enjoys reading, writing, walks, art, baking and obsessing over elaborately decorated cakes (...and will most definitely be caught singing at the same time!). She cannot wait for the many music-making adventures Vox Anima are embarking on!
