Alice Shires
Music and choirs have always been a major part of Alice's life. Prior to joining Vox Anima Chamber Choir, she has competed in International Competitions such as the European Choir Games and the Montreux Choral Festival. Alice enjoys singing a range of music and one of her favourite composers is Ola Gjeilo. His "Northern Lights" sits up as there at the top of her list of his music and Alice is thrilled that it is part of the choir's repertoire!
Outside of music and alongside her full time job as an Executive Assistant in London, Alice enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Her partner runs his own cabinet making business and you can find Alice in the Workshop helping out whenever she can! Alice also loves baking – her specialities are brownies and battenberg cakes. Her ideal weekend would be either dinner and drinks with friends or a countryside walk followed by a well earned pub lunch!
