Singing has been a part of Laura’s life since she joined Mrs Holloway's school choir when she was 7 years old. She has had the privilege to sing with some incredible teachers and musicians and is thrilled to be singing with Jamie and the other members of Vox Anima Chamber Choir. Laura loves the way that Jamie encourages the choir to not only understand the music being sung, but to connect to the words and meaning of the piece and think about what needs to be conveyed to the audience. It has transformed how Laura feels about singing and she regularly gets goose bumps down her neck during performances. Laura particularly likes championing the work of female composers and writers and has enjoyed discovering new people such as the poet Sara Teasdale.
When Laura is not singing she can be found coaching women to create careers they love, pottering in the garden with her chickens, or working with Jamie and Alex's company, Vox Anima London.
