In Celebration of Everyday Wonders

Join the choir for the culmination of a weekend of musical and cultural collaboration with Concentus Women's Chorus from the US.
Performing as the concert centrepiece, Cecilia McDowall's cantata Everyday Wonders: The Girl from Aleppo, Vox Anima Chamber Choir from Kent, UK and Concentus from Rochester, US will present a stunning programme of music in the glorious setting of St Augustine's Chapel at Tonbridge School. The choirs formed friendships across the water and now join together for their first exchange visit.
Programmed around Cecilia's featured piece will be works by Karen Marrolli, Abbie Betinis, Elaine Hagenberg and Ola Gjeilo. There will be the World Premiere of Being Me by Joanna Gill - a piece specially commissioned for this event by the two choirs.
