World Premier Performance of Dan Forrest’s LUX: The Dawn From On High (SSAA version)

Vox Anima Chamber Choir conducted by Dr James M. Meaders presents the world premiere of LUX: The Dawn From On High by Dan Forrest. Originally scored for mixed voices, Dan Forrest realised there were few major works set for upper voices only. It was made possible for Vox Anima Chamber Choir to be the lead commissioner on this revoicing, thanks to the legacy of Alan Dyson gifted by the Cloke family. Following on from a stunning first concert (after the two years' silence) in St Augustine's Chapel in April 2022, the choir are delighted to be performing back in this wonderful space again.
Alongside this world premiere of LUX, the chamber choir will perform works by Ola Gjeilo, Joan Szymko, Eric Whitacre, Elaine Hagenberg and Moira Smiley.
